This petition proposes to reform away from the status quo in the United Nations and its Security Council.
KEYS POINTS:

• The unjust, autocratic and self-serving vetoes and permanent memberships in the Security Council would be abolished.
• Introduction of qualified majority voting and Plan A/B committees would faster and fairer resolve conflicts or disputes between nations or territories
• Human rights would be respected and prioritized.
• Anti-corruption mechanisms would be introduced.
• Nations would be incentivized to act responsibly, for example, on the climate change and biodiversity fronts.

SUGGESTING A SUMMIT TO ACHIEVE THIS MOVE: We propose there should be a U.N.-supervised reform summit of around one month duration, with the following invitees: existing members of the UN, nation-blocks and selected global environmental organizations.
IF WE QUICKLY RAISE TWO MILLION SIGNERS or even more, we have a chance in the coming months to get rid of the current dictators and autocrats holding up the critical UN decisions for peace and our planet.
