By boycotting US goods and services from entering the European Union, the political powers in the United States will be forced to answer for their ongoing human rights violations, such as excessive police force, mass incarceration and a disproportionate targeting of minorities in these offenses. Using incarceration as a means to generate a profit and assist economic and political gain in the US is inhumane. By holding the American government responsible through these sanctions, they will be persuaded to hold themselves accountable and stop tolerating such inhumane practices.
