At the Rocks Lane and Castleneau Road intersection which connectswith Barnes High Street, cars are constantly jumping the red lights and speeding well in excess of the speed limit. Motor cycles in particular reving up and travelling in excess of 60mph. This area is often used by school children playing in the adjacent Barn Elms sports ground. The other road which feeds directly into this intersection is the Queen Elizabeth Walk used to access the Wet Lands and River Thames tow path and houses the St. Mary Barnes Scout Group and local Air Cadets. While I have seen several car accidents at the intersection, a pedestrian fatality and further car accidents are inevitable.

A speed camera and red light camera in this area are imperative.

Reason

The petition subject is often discussed by the local community who can observe the stupidity and dangerous circumstances created by dangerous drivers.
