Petition is addressed to: council of Cheshire East Council
On the 9th October 2024 myself and my family lost a beloved 18 month old dog. He had managed to get out of the garden for a split second and was instantly hit by a speeding car. Since I’ve lived at my house I have witnessed at-least 6 accidents alone. Twinnies Road is one of the main roads used to get the Lacey Green Primary School. So many drivers treat the road like a racing track regardless of school pick up and drop off. So many residents of Lacey Green share my concerns. The roads leading from Lacey Green road need to be reduced to a 20mph zone for the safety of our children pets and residents. Speed bumps and even a zebra crossing really need to be an option that Cheshire east highway need to take into consideration. What happened to our fur baby could have been a child. Please support me in signing this petition and getting our voices heard as residents.

Why people sign
It’s very important to me as I live on one of these roads. It’s extremely dangerous how fast cars drive, and an accident is waiting to happen.
My children go the Lacey Green and cars drive way too fast. It’s an accident waiting to happen.
Speeding is unnecessary and careless. A poor defenceless puppy has been killed and this breaks my heart
Our roads are too fast!

To many idiots speeding in a built up area and sooner or later someone going to be killed
