Trying to put some spacing between paragraphs.
New petition description:
Russia is sending in more and more troops to Ukraine, they bomb civilian objects, entire cities even.
And now, Putin has declared that they are readying their nuclear weapons.
There’s nothing to wait for any more. We have to use every possible sanction to bankrupt Putin’s regime as quickly as possible. A bankrupt government neither wage wars nor drop atom bombs.
// That is why we, the people of this world, demand from our political representatives to immediately: //
- impose the strongest possible sanctions against Russia; in particular, a complete disconnect from SWIFT;
- impose equivalent sanctions against Belarus whose regime takes part in this invasion alongside Russia;
- impose overwhelming sanctions against China whose economic support is what enables Putin to wage this war.war.
We accept the consequences this can have on our comfort and standard of living because they are nothing compared to the suffering of the brave Ukrainian people, or what this conflict could potentially unleash.
