Petition is addressed to: Volodymyr Zelenskyy, President of Ukraine

We ask Volodymyr Zelenskyy, President of Ukraine, to allow men aged 18-60 without military experience to leave Ukraine, especially those with medical conditions.
Since the war began:

• more than 110,000 males returned to the country [1];
• more than 100,000 individuals joined Local Defense Forces [2];
• more than 20,000 persons joined the International Legion [3];
• Ukraine's Armed Forces consist of more than 230,000 professionals [4];
• more than 165,000 professionals are working under Ministry of Internal Affairs (policy, national guard, etc.) [5].

That's more than 625,000 Individuals who expressed their willingness to defend the country. Most of these people have did lots of training, know how to handle weapons, learned tactics & communications and have adequate levels of physical and mental preparedness.
We believe that properly trained & motivated people should fight. At the same time, we have numerous professionals from other areas, e.g. IT, Marketing, Creative, who can "fight" on the "media frontier". Also they can work abroad, helping millions of refugees and donating money for the Ukrainian Army.
It is worth to mention that restricting civilians from leaving Ukraine based on their gender is a discrimination. Such practice looks like something from the Soviet era and should not be possible in a modern Europe. As an example, we can take a look on Estonia, also a Soviet country: paragraph 35 in Estonia's Constitution allows anyone to freely exit the country (unless a person is under criminal investigation) [6]
Therefore, we kindly ask Mr. Volodymyr Zelenskyy, President of Ukraine, to allow men aged 18-60 without military experience to leave Ukraine, especially those with medical conditions.
