Dear Supporters of the Free Beaches of the Mani petition!
I am vastly honoured that, after 2 days only, we already have over 160 signatures! Tells us that many people out there think along similar lines. Thank you so much!
How do we get on? I suggest we take another 2 days, until the end of Friday, August 12, for more signatures. Then I will close the petition, print out the supporter list and send the package to the two recipients: The Mayor in Kardamyli and the State Prosecutor in Kalamata. After all, the focus of the petition is not to ban the sun-beds. We only want to make sure that the existing laws are respected, and that everyone keeps the possibility to fully enjoy our lovely beaches.
Until then, please continue your support by asking friends to sign. Up to now, by far the most signatures come via Facebook. What about send an email to your friends - or WhatsApp, Signal, Telegram messages? If each one of us finds one additional supporter, we will have more than 35O signatures! That would be a great turnout making it difficult for the authorities to ignore. So lets try and go for that - with your help!
I am raising the goal to 500 signatures in the petition platform, nust to have an ambitious. goal.
