New petition description:

The yard in St Julian's Primary/St Clare College is damaged and dangerous.

  • Children are routinely slipping and injuring themselves on the rubberised surface which has now disintegrated to gravel.
  • The longest surrounding wall is slowing falling away, collapsing, due to damagesubsidence. fromThere is a sheer drop to a busy road on the rootsopposite of trees. side.
  • There are no shaded parts, which makes playtime in summer heat unnecessaryunnecessarily uncomfortable, and outside breaksbreaktimes in even light rain showers are impossible.
  • Childrens' shoes and uniforms are being damaged and torn due to falls, placing unnecessary hardship on parents to replace.

Despite making repeated requests for assistance through all the proper channels, the school have still not been allocated the essential funding for these remedial works to take place.
