I wish to change the 1893 Barbed Wire Act in Ireland' Republic as it is outdated and needs addressing..Recent liberalism in Eire although welcome cannot be fully appreciated in a barbed wire society and it could be deemed involuntarily achieved within containment containers of barbed wire.
One half billion tonnes of barbed wire are manufactured each year with Ireland being it's biggest importer based on ratio of population and size..that's enough Eire to wrap the earth 200 times each year.. Barbed wire has prolonged wars ,made concentration camps possible and is the core root of soil erosion ,over grazing and makes climate change industry profitable.
There are alternative fencing which is respectful to earth and people and these need to be made affordable and people trained in their installation.
Thanks for your time.

Reason

There is alot written about this but no action taken. Only India have recently banned wire and only in some places. This legislation of 1893 is implemented in Ireland during the Boer War of 1880-1902.where barbed wire was first used to create concentration camps... It is inappropriate that this legislation remain in our constitution a century after independence and the unchecked rampage if barbed wire across our country in that time permitted.
